May Peace of Allah be Upon Him...

assalamualaikum warahmatullah and hello...

what a weekend... MCOT's maulid celebration, IMAM exco meeting, MCOT sports carnival... plus a short, sleepy stint on the motorway on saturday night... had to stop twice at the services... the first one was to take a 15-minutes nap, and the second was to answer nature's emergency call...

i wasn't feeling really well since saturday afternoon, and the impact was best (or is it worse???) felt today... however, thanks to Allah, i was given strength to go through the day in hospital (as a student, not a patient) without much problem...

the schedule tomorrow is similar to today's, if not longer... a clinical teaching session with dr. paul bannister (our new consultant for the new medical firm) at 9.30am, followed by 1st pbl session for case 8 at 11.30. then there's a lecture at 1pm plus another teaching session at 3pm, this time with dr. picton, a renal consultant...

the enjoyable part will be on wednesday, insya allah i hope... just one teaching session in the morning with dr mike cheshire (another consultant in our firm), and a free afternoon... then there will be a charity match between the medics football and rugby teams... game will start at 2.30pm, at the armitage centre... 40 minutes of 11-a-side football in the first half, and another 40 minutes of 15s rugby in the second... looking forward to thrash the footballers (in terms of points scored, since a try in rugby count as 5 points!!!)

anyway, better to stop my ramblings and venture to something more mind-opening... WHAT IS LIFE WITHOUT FAITH??? and how do we actually recognized and remember this man who enjoined us to the Faith in Allah, the One and Only God... this man, who with his pool of Companions, sacrificed all that they have in the way of Allah, with the sole goal to put Islam at its proper place: the numero uno of all faiths... not just number one, but also as the only true faith which can guide all of us mankind to the Land of the Blessed... so, let us all take this opportunity now (for those who haven't yet), to say our blessings for Muhammad the Messenger of Allah, may peace be upon him... and let this practice be a routine to us, up until the Final Day... insya allah...

" You have indeed in the Messenger of Allah a beautiful pattern (of conduct) for any one whose hope is in Allah and the Final Day, and who engages much in the Praise of Allah. " Al-Ahzab 33:21

" Allah and His angels send blessings on the Prophet: O you that believe! Send your blessings on him, and salute him with all respect. " Al-Ahzab 33:56

The prophet said, "I have not been sent but to complete noble attributes (Makarimal-Akhlaq)" (Muslim)
